Improving the Guarantees of Origin System

Europex, the association of European energy exchanges, published a position paper titled “eleven recommendations for improving the Guarantees of Origin system under REDII (link to our other article about REDII)”. Europex suggests that full disclosure should be realized via mandatory issuance of GOs for all types of electricity production sources, not only renewable sources, which would lead to an increase in market transparency.
