April saw a resurgence of Dutch Wind GO trades by our data partners. Both the number of trades and volumes traded was similar to April last year. Volume weighted average prices have been steady for Wind 2018 production, with a slight decline expected in May. There is a shift towards Wind 2019 production, which traded at similar prices to 2018 production in April.
UK REGOs will continue to be recognized in the Netherlands until Brexit, which is currently set to the 31st of October 2019. REGOs may only be transferred to the Netherlands through ex-domain cancelation, as such, data is only available on a quarterly basis. Q1 data for 2019 is expected to be released by the AIB soon.
