The second week of March saw low market activity as a large number of market participants attended the industry event REC Market Meeting 2019.
A few trades took place towards the end of the week, which saw a continuation of the bearish trend that started in the middle of February, likely caused by the lack of buying interest ahead of electricity disclosure deadline 31st of March.
Nordic Hydro 2018 closed at 32.00 Eurocent/MWh, down from 41.50 Eurocent/MWh from the previous Friday’s close. Nordic Hydro 2019 through to 2022 Nordic Hydro currently trade in the same range as last week: 81 to 93 Eurocent/MWh. Wind 2019 through to Wind 2022 now trade in the range of 88 to 97 Eurocent/MWh.
