IMUG Beratungsgesellschaft, a consultancy based in Hannover, Germany has conducted a large-scale questionnaire among German households. The study was commissioned by the Umweltbundesamt (German Environment Agency) and the results were presented to experts within the field in Berlin on the 6th of December. In total, 2,031 people participated, out of which 1,488 where decision makers regarding their household’s electricity consumption. Overall, the survey finds strong support for the renewable energy transition, and 45% of households show considerable interest for 100% renewable electricity products.
