Summary:

• The price of Dutch Wind GOs exceeded €8 /MWh in November.
• The ratio of the price of Dutch Wind GOs to the Dutch wholesale electricity price reached close to 13% in November.
• Cumulative net imports and cancelations of GOs in the Netherlands between January to November exceeded the volumes seen for the same period in 2017, indicating growing demand for GOs.

The Volume Weighted Average Prices (VWAP) for Dutch Wind reached a high of €8.04 in November. The preliminary numbers show a continued increase to €8.1 in December. The high price of Dutch GOs is a clear indication for the strong appetite for Dutch GOs. November saw less than usual GO trading activity, and this was also the case for Dutch Wind.
