A 2015 poll conducted by the German Renewable Energies Agency finds continued widespread support for the renewable transition. The poll found out that an overwhelming 93% of the German public support further expansion of renewable energy efforts. The German population has already demonstrated a strong and continued support for the Energiewende through years.
The poll also found that the support for certain types of renewable energy facilities rose in areas where plants have already been installed.
