The monthly statistics presented by CertiQ show that there is an overall decrease in numbers for May. Production numbers are shown for the previous month, i.e. April. Production of Dutch Guarantees of Origin in April were 1.12 TWh, down 21% from the 1.42 TWh produced in March. Production was dominated by wind, 776.3 GWh were produced followed by 247.5 GWh Biomass.
Imports have decreased slightly, 2.2 TWh were imported in May, corresponding to a 4.4% drop from the 2.3 TWh imported in April. Hydropower GOs make up the lion’s share of imports, with a total of 1,007.0 GWh imported. 502.5 GWh were imported from France and 228.2 GWh from Norway. Wind GO imports followed closely, with 918.6 GWh imported, primarily from Italy (355.9 GWh) and Norway (143.0 GWh).
