Green electricity attributes are becoming increasingly popular and renewable-GO-prices keep rising in the wholesale market. This encourages an increased adoption of GOs and consequently, the potential supply of GOs is being reduced. i.e. the amount of electricity that currently does not receive GOs. Greenfact has observed that the untapped supply has shrunk from 318 TWh in 2014 to about 163 TWh in 2017. The decrease can be explained by several factors:
