The CertifHy project will launch the first Green H2 Guarantees of Origin later this month. The GOs will be available for sale across the European Union.
The project team is led by Hinicio and consists of The Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN), GREXEL, Ludwig Bölkow System Technik (LBST), and TÜV SÜD. The project is financed by the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH 2 JU) [1].
Four H2 producers including the industrial gas companies Air Liquide and Air Products, the chemical company Akzo Nobel, Air Products, the retailer Colruyt Group and the energy utility Uniper will have their production batches audited during this pilot. The corresponding GOs will be up for trade later in April [2].
