Renewable energy cheaper than fossil fuels by 2020

The International Renewable Energy Agency, IREA, recently published a report stating that renewable energy will be cheaper than fossil fuels by 2020. 

It is the continuous improvements in renewable technologies, especially wind and solar, together with the explosive development that cause the prices for renewables to drop so rapidly. 

"This new dynamic signals a significant shift in the energy paradigm", said Adnan Amin, director general of IREA.
