The new energy strategy, ES2050, for electricity labelling in Switzerland results in a sharp price jump for Swiss GOs.
Effective from January 1, 2018, all electricity delivered to end consumers in Switzerland must be supported by GOs, which removes the possibility of identifying non-verifiable– so called grey electricity- in the power labelling [1].
