95% of Germans say renewable expansion is extremely important

A survey made on behalf of the Agency for Renewable Energies (AEE) shows that an overwhelming majority of Germans support an expansion of renewable energy.

“The result of the survey proves how wide the social consensus is,” says Nils Boenigk, deputy managing director of the AEE. 95 percent of the survey participants rate the expansion of renewables as extremely important.
