On 25 July 2022, the Croatian Energy Market Operator (HROTE) and the Croatian Power Exchange (CROPEX) held a Guarantees of Origins (GOs) auction for electricity produced from April to June 2022. According to the agreement between HROTE and CROPEX, the GO auctions are organised by CROPEX through its auction trading platform. After the auction is completed, raised funds from the auction are transferred to the incentivised system fund, while sold GOs are transferred from HROTE’s account in the GOs Registry to the auction participant’s user accounts.
