Dutch Renewable GO Overview April 2022

Main points for April 2022:

  • Importation of GO decreased with 63.4%
  • Supply decreased by 34% with Demand decreasing by 16%

Indicative Prices for Dutch Wind were around 450 Eurocents/MWh.

When compared to March 2022, supply decreased by 34.4% from 4.67 TWh to 3.06 TWh issued GOs in April 2022.

The demand for renewable Dutch GOs decreased by 16.4% in April 2022 when compared to the previous month with 5.61 TWh cancelled. This decrease in GO demand in April is not too surprising considering electricity disclosure deadlines in the Netherlands was the month before (31 March) and generally there is a natural dip in demand afterwards. 

Cumulative cancellations until April 2022 increased by 8% compared to the same period in 2021.

Net imports in April 2022 decreased by 6...
