Dutch Renewable GO Overview March 2022

Main points for March 2022:

  • Supply increased by 63% with demand increasing by 6%
  • Exports reduced by 33% on increased domestic GO

Current bid and ask spreads for Dutch Wind GOs remained between 410-450 eurocents/MWh.

When compared to January 2022, supply increased by 63% from 2.85 TWh to 4.67 TWh of issued GOs in March 2022. Although wind production in the Netherlands decreased by 50% when compared to February, this increase in issuances could have been partly caused by an increase in solar production, which according to energieopwek, went from 1031.49 GWh to 1514.75 GWh in March.
