Germany limits wind power expansion in the northern parts of the country

Onshore wind power expansion in the north will be limited to 902 MW annually as Germany tries to adapt the grid for the increase of renewable energy.

This move is due to the massive delay of new grid lines. The areas affected are Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Pomerania, Schleswig-Holstein, Bremen and the northern parts of Lower Saxony...
