Highlights:

• Market activity has picked up significantly in the second week of 2022 after a lull in the last two weeks.
• Prices for the Nordic Hydro increased slightly across all recorded vintages.
  
• The Nordic hydropower balance decreased by about 3% in the first week of 2022 yet hydropower production is forecasted to increase in the current week.

According to data from our data partners, last week saw a significant increase in market activity compared to the previous week with recorded transactions  and traded volumes increasing by over 500% when compared to Week 01.
