For Biomethane certificates, 2021 saw significant growth in prices although not as much as in power GoOs. The overall Greenfact index for Biomethane which tracks Biomethane prices across Europe ended 25 points up, as shown below.
The market was a slight lull in Q1 2021, where prices and activity were slightly down but they have recovered in Q2; One of the possible reasons is may be recovery in demand after Corona lock-downs.
