UK imported about 70 TWh of EU GoOs in 2020/21

Ofgem published the details of the Guarantees of Origin recognised for the disclosure period 01 April 2020 - 31 March 2021. The total number of GoOs recognised amounted to 69.2 TWh.

Out of the 69.2 TWh GoOs recognised, 29.2 TWh of GoOs were eligible for gaining CfD levy exemptions. This is followed by 22.4 GoOs TWh of GoOs eligible for gaining FiT levy exemptions and 14.2 TWh of GoOs  eligible for gaining both FiT and CfD levy exemptions.  GoOs eligible solely for Fuel Mix Disclosure in the UK accounted for only 3.4 TWh of GOs.
