Trading in the third week of December (51) saw a decrease in transactions and in trade volumes compared to the week prior (50).
Current year Nordic Hydro GOs sold at 10.92 Eurocent/MWh, about a 0.25 Eurocent decrease compared to previous week (11.17 Eurocent/MWh). Trades for other Nordic Hydro vintages were limited, except 2023 Nordic Hydro GOs being traded at 42.25 Eurocent/MWh.
A more positive sign saw in current year EU Hydro GOs where a price was much higher than the Nordic Hydro benchmark (10.92 Eurocent/MWh). The 2020 EU Hydro GOs transacted at an average price of 19.16 Eurocent/MWh – a sharp increase of slightly over 8 Eurocent/MWh compared to previous EU Hydro GOs (10.85 Eurocent/MWh).
