The first week of trading in October saw a slight decrease in market activity when compared to the previous week, with price decreases for most commodities and decreased liquidity in the forward markets.
Hydropower GOs saw trades across a range of vintages. Nordic Hydro GOs saw decreases across vintages with 2020 production GOs trading at 13.25 Eurocent/MWh a 5% decrease from the start of the week. In the forward years, Nordic Hydro 2021 and 2022 production GOs closed at 25.50 Eurocent/MWh and 36.25 Eurocent/MWh having fallen 1 Eurocent from the previous week.
EU hydro 2020 production GOs closed at 13.75 Eurocent/MWh a 2% increase from the previous week. EU Hydro 2021 production GOs closed at 27.00 Eurocent/MWh a 5% decrease from the previous week. EU Wind 2021 production GOs closed at 28.50 a 19% decrease from the previous week while EU biomass 2021 production GOs closed at 24.00 Eurocent/MWh.
