The final week of trading in September saw a slight increase in market activity with decreased prices on most commodities and liquidity in the forward markets.
Hydropower GOs saw trades across a range of vintages with Nordic Hydro 2020 production GOs trading at 14.00 Eurocent/MWh a slight 4% increase from the start of the week. In the forward years, Nordic Hydro 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 production GOs closed at 26.5 Eurocent/MWh, 37.25 Eurocent/MWh, 41.80 Eurocent/MWh and 51.25 Eurocent/MWh having fallen between 1-4 Eurocents from the previous week.
Current year production EU biomass GO prices continue to increase closing at 13.50 Eurocent/MWh a 2% increase from week 38 prices.
EU hydro 2020 production GOs closed at 13.50 Eurocent/MWh a 5% decrease from the previous month and trading at a discount to the Nordic Hydro 2020 GOs. In the front years, EU Hydro 2021 closed at 28.50 Eurocent/MWh a 7% increase from week 38 while the 2022 and 2023 production GOs s...
