COVID19: Germany urged for continued focus on Clean Energy

Kerstin Andreae, the Chief Executive of Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft (BDEW), the largest energy industry association in Germany, has urged the German government to continue its clean energy investment efforts even during the current COVID-19 pandemic. 

In her statement, Andreae emphasised the importance of Germany’s Renewable Energy Sources Act, as being a key pillar in driving Germany’s current 43% share of renewable energy and shaping the country’s energy system.
