Microsoft is pledging to become 100% “carbon-negative” by 2030 by removing more carbon from the environment than it emits.

Microsoft, which had previously set an interim goal of 70% renewable energy by 2023, has set the 2030 target not only for its data center operations, but also from the electronic devices it produces, as well as from everyone who plugs in its Xbox gaming consoles at home.
