Weekly GO Market Brief – Week 44, 2019

Last week's trading saw a continuation of the recent trend, where lack of demand put pressure on GO prices. The market liquidity picked up slightly from recent weeks, with both Nordic Wind and Nordic Hydro seeing trades last week.

Nordic Hydro 2019 prices weakened and traded at 26.25 Eurocent/MWh, down from 28.00 Eurocent/MWh in Week 43. Prices for Nordic Hydro vintages 2020-2022are down similarly, trading in the range of 55-71 Eurocent/MWh. Wind GO products maintained their premium to the Nordic Hydro counterparts, with premiums hovering around 2-6 Eurocents.
