The Board of Directors of Greenfact AS, the Oslo-based market intelligence firm in the renewable energy space, is delighted to announce that Mr. Thomas Eccard has been appointed as a Board Director with effect from 7 February, 2022.
Thomas is currently the Chairman of the Board of RECS International, a non-profit organization striving for an open pan-European renewable energy market through commonly accepted and harmonized tracking systems based on Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs). He is also the Head of Environmental Markets at Agder Energi Vannkraft AS which manages the renewable attributes from hydropower assets owned by Agder Energi group, Norway.
Thomas served a range of operative, senior management and executive roles in the renewable energy and carbon markets over the past 20 years. His work included the brokerage and management of green certificate portfolios across Europe, the development of carbon offset projects under international and national schemes as well as the structuring of transactions in relation to various environmental commodities.
