Portugal to auction 4.3 TWh of GOs on 28th October

Portugal is scheduled to auction 4.3 TWh of Guarantees of Origin (GOs) on 28th October 2021. The auctioned GOs are from renewable energy which benefitted from production or investment support, and the revenue will revert to the National Electric System. 

The GOs would be sold in eight lots and in total represent 4.3 TWh of GOs. Out of 4.3 TWh of GOs, a majority are for electricity produced in November and December 2020 (3.43 TWh) and the rest (0.86 TWh) are from June 2021 production. Additionally, a majority of GOs (2.8 TWh) are from Wind, followed by 1.1 TWh of GOs from Hydro. The reserve price is: 0.15 €/MWh.
